We are training at Long Ash this Friday 31st for all disciplines from 6-7pm and 6-7.30pm for 1st Kups and above.
Congratulations to Darren, Adam, Kev, Gary and Sam who completed Hope 24 coming 1st in the Mens Team category and 4th overall. They managed 175 miles on a tough course which was reversed from last year making conditions really challenging. Well done guys enjoy your beer.
Good luck to SCMA’s Darren Handley, Adam Kirtley, Kev Hamill and Gary Burdock who are part of a 5 man relay team taking place in ‘Hope 24′ at Newnham Park this weekend. The event is a 24 hour endurance relay race over a 5 mile course from 12pm on Saturday to 12pm on Sunday and they are hoping to run well in excess of 180 miles. Entry is free to spectators so please feel free to come down and cheer them on.
Entry forms are now available for the South West ITF Taekwondo Champs to be held on Sunday 10th May at Torbay Leisure Centre. For more info please see your Instructor.
Classes at Marine Academy are closed this evening but there is a mixed class at Tavistock Town Hall from 6-7pm.
Coombe Dean is closed on Thursday but there is training at Saltash for Dragons at 5.30pm & mixed TKD from 6-7pm
Woolwell Dragons is on as normal on Friday followed by a mixed TKD class from 6-7pm

Congratulations to everyone who successfully passed their grading on Saturday. The standard was as good as we have ever seen and credit goes to every student for their hard work and perseverance as well as parents for supporting them and enduring training on the sidelines over the past 3, cold months!
We very much look forward to awarding all belts at Coombe Dean on Tuesday evening from 6pm. If you didn’t grade, please do come along to train and support your friends receiving their new grades.
Good luck to all our colour belts taking their grading in Plymouth this weekend. It’s another huge one with over 120 students testing for both Taekwondo and Kickboxing promotions. Well done on your hard work this far and one last big push for Saturday!
Pre gradings continue this week at Hele’s on Tuesday, MAP on. Wednesday and Coombe Dean on Thursday. Please remember to bring your licence and grading fee with you.

We are running a Taekwondo Black Belt training session this Sunday at Hele’s from 10.30-11.30am. The class is open to all 1st Kup and above students and replaces the normal mixed class as a one off.
